His house...

The romantic in me says that the tree will stand as long as the house does-- then they will lie down together.

Wonderfully stark environment. Since the roof is gone, that house won't stand long. Suspect the tree may out last the house by several decades, but who knows? Good find.

Wow - amazing shot. So melanchholy.

Love it! The shadows bring out the best in both, the old house and the tree.

I think the tree is sad to see the house in that condition and I think will be there for perhaps the next owners!

It looks like a desert.

Lovely sharp capture.
You are probably correct on how long both or 3 will stand before they fall to the earth.

The bleak and almost lifeless scene shocked me.

I am saddened by the amount of abandoned houses in your country areas. Why so many?
