It is all about scale in your photo. Is this a model barge and tow boat? Perhaps the far shore gives it away.

Interestingly, the sand is transported somewhere.

Comfortable is to visit the blog, the pictures tell such a variety of landscapes and events than here in Finland.

I see that it isn't a model. Must be huge trees on the other bank. I really like the earlier photo you referenced. That a huge industrial transportation corridor with both rail and river traffic. Thank you for your response.
