It's really different winter colors than here :) I think these colors belong to summer or autumn. But in different countries there are different colors...
This is very lovely photo (without snow)

The colours in winter can be superb. This proves it.

Excellent photography Bill of that swamp area.
At least there would be no crocodiles or alligators lurking
in Oregon Territory, but I wouldn't be wading in it.
I have been up Eugene way from SFO by car with a mate
from the Vietnam war who on "R & R" leave opted to stay in
the country areas of NSW rather than the "Red Light" district
of Kings Cross in Sydney. My family had a country hotel and Steve
had the time of his life - going out with the shearers to the sheds
and trying his hand at "beer pulling".
His family in the 1980's purchased a small farm for cattle and chicken raising. Well as I also had a rural background in cattle I knew this exercise was headed for disaster. Steve's parents had never heard of a knife or, well a rubber band, so castration of
young bulls did not exist. "Mickey Bulls" ran rampant!!
I will not venture into the chicken raising department - it was for eggs but for every "unfortunate" hen there were 3 roosters!!!!
Still it was an experience - ha ha.
Sorry about my garrulous nature but I think your photography deserves more than one liners.
Cheers
Colin
