Come back in a few hundred years...

Looking into the Mt. St. Helens crater, you can see a new mountain top rising from the center-- Between the two outer edges.  The lava dome is presently nearly a thousand feet from the crater floor.

Are you not afraid to live so close to the volcano ... even if it's not now would be "alive"..
But this scene is so beautiful.

I'll take your word on the new mountain rising as I am no expert on mountains (where I live it is VERY flat). Wonderful photo.
