is it the place where the man with the foolish grin sees the world spinning round ? A beautiful picture. I love the kind of sfumato on the trees in the back

Fine setting for this barn with its great patina. Unfortunately it looks like a failed farm where both barn and land have fallen into neglect.

It may need a little work... but it is such a beautiful setting.

It fills me with nostalgia for days on the farm.
I would love to see it covered in all that snow you are 'enjoying'!

It's looking a lovely old barn, as barns should be..

Nice scene. It's barns like this that us photographers seek out.

Good for photographs but probably not much good for anything else. Have a wonderful weekend.

It's really old, but it looks lovely in this beautiful photo.

Hi Bill. Your comment about corporate farming is right on the money. Farmers no longer produce much but grain and sometimes cattle and pigs. Dairy, eggs, chicken, hogs, and beef are mostly likely produced by industrial methods. Barns were used for diversified farms, and those no longer exist, but they still need places for machinery, so pole buildings are used. This has happened across the Midwest.
