Even more colorful!


The tree was blown over when Mt. St. Helens erupted, 38 years ago.  It makes a perfect backdrop for the Indian Paintbrush and other wildflowers.

I didn't see the initial eruption, but was flying in the Pacific Northwest when one of the subsequent eruptions occurred. - Margy
