The BNSF crossing in the little town of Maryhill, Washington-- lots of orchards and vineyards there along the river.

Always fun watching trains go by, especially in these small towns. Evokes peacefulness. ❤️❤️

If I lived there would be good to hear the train rolling by..

I lived on a sheep farm for a number of years. A railway line ran through the bottom paddock, and it was always good to hear it. Memories of good times.

It was worth the climb to get this photograph.

Love trains...till in a hurry to get somewhere. Lol. Terre Haute used to be so hard to get through...it is full of trains. They finally built a couple overpasses which helped.

Interesting perspective on this railroad. It is almost like looking down at an HO model train set. Is that fall colors in the trees and bushes?

"Choo choo train, chug-chuggin' out by jiminey,
Engineer, toot toot your toot-a-toot!
Smokey smoke, puff-puffin' up the chimney,
Ch-ch-poo, ch-ch-poo, we're en route!"

By Doris Day, and it's ok even without the chimney.

I love trains and travelling on them. I have been away in Scotland at my sister's (so no commenting) and just about to go away again for 2 more weeks! But thanks for all your comments. Well life is short and I am making the most of it
