As we head East in the Columbia River Gorge, we get to Hood River (Oregon). It's almost always windy through a lot of the Gorge due to the difference in climate on the two sides of the Cascades. But where there's wind-- there are wind surfers!

I have only played with a windsurfer once, and have great respect for the abilities of these surfers who can handle the strong winds shown in your photo. They are highly skilled.

Una foto impresionante y un deporte apasionante! en mi ciudad hay muchos surfistas ya que es típico por aquí el tema de los fuertes vientos .Da gusto detenerse a observarlos, todo un arte!!! Saludos!!!

Buena descripción de esa interesante zona. Y una buena oportunidad para los windsurfistas que no tienen que desplazarse hasta el mar para practicar su deporte.
