Unused for decades, the Goodnoe Hills School was a typical country schoolhouse. There were rarely more than 15 students at a time. In its later years it mostly served children of the Rock Hills Native American People.

What a dramatic photo of this old school. Our state is also dotted with abandoned one room schools. The school consolidation movement of the 1950s and 1960s put an end to them.

It's a good photo, like the sky, building and surrounds.
Hope someone will restore that school, but suppose there is not much else in that area that would draw visitors.
