And finally, revisiting some favorite places #50: Aside from the incredible views of Mt. St. Helens, what I've missed most about not being able to go to Johnston Ridge this year-- the wildflowers! They are nature's artwork at its finest.

Wild flowers are always a joy to find. You will have to return the Johnson Ridge next year. I am looking forward to see what you find there.

The yearly wildflower bloom is one of my favorites. This year I hiked up to JRO from the Hummocks trailhead. It was quite a trek, but I caught wildflowers in bloom.
