It's me! The king of the backyard! I can see everything from here! We rarely see our harmless little garden snakes anymore-- the trees and bushes have made it too shady for them to sun themselves.

Sleek and beautiful. Few of our snakes are harmless.

Amazing snake. I have never seen a native snake here only at zoos and petting zoos. Maybe one day!

These Garter snakes are really good for the environment keeping insect and rodent populations in check, and they are harmless to people. But human snake fear often dooms them.
