It was 90 years ago that this truck rolled off the Ford assembly line, all shiny and ready to go to work. Now the windshield is gone, the tires are flat, and I doubt that it's moved at all for a few years. It was a handsome, heavy-duty truck for its time.

The 1936 Ford trucks were great vehicles. I have a friend who has a 1936 Ford dump truck that he uses as a daily driver. It is in mechanically perfect condition, but otherwise original. The one in your photo would need considerable restoration to get back on the road.
Lots of character there.
This truck is still handsome and strong, but it's retired and holds memories and stories of roads it traveled, the people it has carried and places it visited. Deeply touched by this image!!!
Many stories to be told in that old vehicle.
