Still lots of snow on the mountain--- It was 44 years ago Saturday that the entire north face of Mt. St. Helens blew off. That was something!

It was something all right. The ash reigned down in Corvallis, where I lived then. I collected a jar of it, for some reason, might still have it. That's a beautiful photo. I'll never forget Harry Truman refusing to leave, with all his cats.

Yes, we got dust here in SD from Mt St Helens when it blew up. Wonderful light in your photo.
