Here's another shot on Johnston Ridge from a few years back. It will be 2027 before the road gets fixed. and we can go up there again. But when that picture was taken, it had been 42 years since the volcanic explosion blew it down along with thousands of others. I bet it's still there.

I imagine it as a vast landscape. Nature adds dots of color to the gray.

Probably is still there, or some of it. I was remembering that day, was in Corvallis, heard the massive bang even there. The ash came even to Corvallis but nothing like Spokane and that side. I collected a jar of it, but somewhere in multiple moves, I lost it. I don't know why I collected it.
