Late Afternoon At The Dalles Dam
I am always amazed by the beauty of this spot.
In the late afternoon sun, both the Shaker Indian
fishing village and the dam that took away the Celilo Falls
fishing sites seem to go together very well. The glowing hills
on the Washington side are a perfect complement for the sky.

As you said, this location is beautiful. Can the dam be accessed in any way (like a road crossing it or something similar)?
What an amazing place with such a history....it's conflited, which makes for a somber moment. Toss in the late afternoon light...AWESOME!
