This odd looking vessel, the Amy Brusco, is a barge pusher. You can see them up and down the Columbia River, particularly between the wheat fields of the east and Portland. Note the Osprey nest atop the far piling at the Brusco tugboat yard in Cathlamet. The net-covered temporary structures in the foreground are fish pens utilized by hatcheries nearby before the fish are eventually released.

Very nice capture! The light, sky and view are very appealing to the eye.
Absolutely lovely setting. I like the moody sky.

Fish hatchery stuff and barge tugs I'm familiar with, given we're a hop skip and a jump from the Mississippi, but this tug is just AWESOME!!
