Here's a puzzler--- Are the two locomotives side by side each on its own track? The route is double-tracked the whole way. Or, is this one train with one locomotive behind the other? If I hadn't been there...
The answer: One behind the other. Really!

Looks like side by side but really behind the other. Great shot!
I was going for a two engine load and not the 'side by side'--but I was looking at the loco's letters on the second to make the determination. BUT--at the angle you got, tricky on the eyes....and way cool as a photo! :-)
I did come to the conclusion that one was behind the other before I read your answer. Because the white 'handrails' is in front of some black markings on the one behind.
