Searching for wildflowers...
Laura is taking pictures of the wildflowers growing along Johnston Ridge---around 4400 ft. or about 1340 meters above sea level. You can still see the remains of trees blown over by the Mt. St. Helens eruption 36 years ago.

I think you and Laura have wonderful life together because you both love photography and hiking.
In this photo is fantastic scene.
Wow... the dedication of you both to your photography is beautiful. It does appear that Laura has a lot of wildflowers to chose from. I can't believe how otherwise barren the hill side is, and yet there are tuffs of wildflowers everywhere.
There's nothing like the flowers in mountain meadows. I enjoy every one of your photos!
Yes, simple and beautiful life in The nature. Thanks for all these pictures which make imagine and dream....
Looks bleak and cold up there.
The wildflowers do look colourful with nothing else is growing except for a bit of 'something'!
This looks a beautifully desolate place.
It looks misty and cold but I'm sure it must have been rewarding and invigorating.
I'll be watching for her posts.
Laura and you make so beautiful images and I enjoy each visit on your blogs
Maravilhosa cena!
