Mt. Adams-- the other mountain.

Mt. Adams always surprises visitors.  It's about 40 miles East-Northeast of Mt. St. Helens and still has its top.

Like Mt. Helens, Mt. Adams is another of those dormant volcanos. It might decide not to blow up for another 1,000 years, or maybe next week. It does make a stunning subject with all its snow, light, and shadows.
