What a lush forest with great light. Photography is all about the light. Bill, my main line shot today is of tracks that run from Rapid City, SD to the Mississippi River. Over the years many railroads have owned these tracks. They were built by the Chicago Northwestern, then bought by the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern (a railroad created by South Dakota when the CNW decided to abandoned the line. Now it is owned by the Rapid City, Pierre, and Eastern (RCP&E).
