Mt. St. Helens was named after the Baron St. Helens by explorer George Vancouver in 1792.

Spectacular and I love the filigree of bare branches in the foreground.

The land looks barren but the scenery still looks spectacular.

Excelente imagen, me gusta mucho el encuadre y como sobresale por encima de todo esa montaña bellamente nevada, saludos y feliz semana.

A wonderful view of the mountain
saw a program on national geographic about the mountain
and the latest outbreak she had
think it was 1980
campers who were there filmed and took photos from the blowout
a beautiful mountain that is at rest perhaps

Beautiful with a lot of snow - but if I recall you have mentioned it always has a bit of snow in it, referring to summer.
