Tygh Valley. Abraham Lincoln was President when my Great Great Grandfather started farming here. It hasn't been in the family for 50 years, but I still enjoy seeing it when we're on the dry side.

As Margaret said - How wonderful to know where you family farmed - and to be able to visit from time to time is definitely icing on the cake.

Good to know how we are connected to the land. My first reaction to your photo is that it looked exceedingly dry with all that yellow grass. This looks more like grazing land than farm land.
