I can almost feel their presence when I see these old places. I could kick myself over not talking to someone more about a place I photograph. I had pictures on panoramio and someone contacted me about it. It was where s/he grew up...then panoramio closed down and I lost the way to make contact.

Yes, they worked hard, and then they left a long time ago. What remains are wind and ghosts.
