Look who's come to visit--- Mr. and Mrs. Grosbeak! Evening Grosbeaks are occasionally seen in our area-- usually for a couple of weeks in April or May. They are relatively big birds, and have large finch-like beaks-- hence their name. We're lucky to have seen this pair!

Given the yellow color and black wings my guess is this is Mr and Ms American Goldfinch, but then I'm no expert. We can all agree it is a wonderful photo.
