A lot of the snow is gone as we look into the mouth of the volcano. Distance and scale are misleading--the canyons in the 41 year old mudflow are quite large and are miles away. In the foreground the wild flowers are beginning their show. The two red ones are Indian Paintbrush.

Con nieve o sin ella: ¡impresionante!
I love images with tiny splashes of bright colors.
Great photo :-D
Awesome view ,beautiful place !
Hope you have been avoiding the heat that has settled in the Southwest and Midwest. That mud flow still looks raw and new after all these years.
Una bella imagen del volcán dormido ahora. El agua ha hecho su trabajo abriéndose paso entre los detritos qué lanzó el volcán.
Un abrazo y cuidate.
I love this view, this mountain and its wildflowers!
Amazing and it doesn't look as far as you say.
Interesting mud, devastation really back when it happened.
fascinant
