A fallen tree makes a great place for raccoons, chipmunks, and bears to sit and ponder the meaning of life...

And for people too. And a place to simply soak up the beauty.

Except for the cold, a perfect spot for forest bathing.

A perfect hiding spot for nature's critters.

My first impulse would be to go and sit there and just enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells.
