Also from the Elk Rock Viewpoint with the help of a long lens, 12,200 foot Mt. Adams is glowing in the late afternoon. An "atmospheric river"-- of warm tropical rain has pretty much wiped out the snow at lower elevations-- below 8 thousand feet. Lots of rain expected through the weekend.

Bill, what a great shot of the mountain at the golden hour. Snow is coming, in fact it is snowing here right now, but I hope it wan't last long.
