A hidden stream in the forest. We love to see all the little ferns growning out of the moss on the sides of trees.

How beautiful. That water looks very clean too.

you know the passion i have for mosses and especially for ferns. but the sound of a stream is something that makes me particularly happy. there was a time when i couldn't think of anything better than falling asleep listening to the sound of a stream. There is also a beautiful Japanese koto piece that tells the story of a stream that becomes a river. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKEW0jbll98

The little stream may not be able to run much longer as the temperatures drop below freezing.

I've gotten so-out-of the blogging 'thing' ... but was browsing my old post and saw your comment...and thought I'd just pop over an say hi. I've missed visiting my blogger friends...but the time I freed up when I 'retired' from it allowed me to take on other things...now...can I get back into it (smile)

Nature offers so much, in all seasons.
I can hear the gurgling!

Je rejoins Arnaud pour le plaisir d'écouter l'eau chanter dans les ruisseaux. Mais pourquoi ce chant est -il si apaisant alors que celui de l'eau qui coule d'un robinet qui fuit est exaspérant....
