This old snag is kind of like the Statue of Liberty to us. He's been standing proudly for as long as we've lived in the area. I think there's some life in the old guy since he's been known to spout a tiny twig when no one was looking. I hope he stands forever.

The tree does remind me of the Statue of Liberty. Trees never give up. They have a root system that spread a long way and produces new sprouts.
