One of my favorite subjects: High above the Columbia River and the towns of Maryhill, Washington, and Biggs Junction, Oregon, is Washington's own Stonehenge-- built over 100 years ago as a memorial to those lost in the First World War.

Truly dramatic and lovely. I hope it was a comfort to those who lost family. And is a comfort to those who have lost loved ones in other wars.

Buenas columnas lo sustentan.

Me gusta mucho el encuadre con esas moles pétreas tan próximas al foco, casi llenando la fotografía pero dejando unos resquicios por los que se cuela el impresionante paisaje

Our government want it get rid of it, and build dual way for cars, lorry, etc. Bloody Tories.

Wonderful stone columns with a terrific view of the river. It's sad to see these memorials to World War 1, especially now we may be on the verge of World War 3. Too much suffering and death.
