One of my favorite subjects: The juxtaposition of The Dalles Dam on the Columbia River, now 65 years old, and the much older remains of a Shaker Indian Church and small homestead. Nobody is preserving these old buildings so I doubt that there will be any sign of them before long.

It is always sad to see the old homesteads disappear. A great conjunction in the shot though.
It's a shame they will end up falling down but that's the way it goes sometimes. Nice capture of the dam.
Excelente trabalho.
Gostei.

I agree with "Elephant's Child". It is sad to sights like this.
It looks like another world.
These old buildings are quickly vanishing along with the history of the people who were there. This does not look like productive farm land.
This is a dam in the middle of desert? How is there any rainfalls to fill up the dam? Beautiful like an outback landscape though :)
