This was a railroad right-of-way many decades ago, and even though the bridge over the Cowlitz River is long gone, it's still called Olequa Crossing.

Old names die hard don't they? Sometimes remaining long after the reason has been forgotten.

¡Espectacular! Y muy apropiada esa toma tan baja para permitirnos disfrutar de la altura de la arboleda

Beautiful fall colors. Many of these old railroad right of ways have become bicycle trails. The grades are gentle and the scenery, as you show, is often beautiful make them perfect places for a ride through the countryside.

Great photo. I often hike the old RR trails here. Take lots of photos especially now in Autumn. Thanks for the posting.
