Revisiting favorite places #17: Just west of the Maryhill Winery, this train dominates the landscape! When the Burlington, Great Northern, and Santa Fe railroads all combined, they picked the perfect colors for their locomotives-- very close to the Santa Fe "Warbonnet" colors of the past.

Me gusta ese efecto de velocidad, en que las montañas parecen difuminadas.

Those colours really set it off against that stark landscape.

Brings back memories when I was kid and I always got excited riding the trains.

Beautiful train photograph. Red colour machine crossing the desert. Very beautiful.

I've always thought the Santa Fe Warbonnet colors were the very best. These engines look great in your photo. I've always enjoyed your RR photos. BTW, Andy thinks we should take you out to lunch, and I think that's a great idea. I wish we could.

Al congelar la locomotora y los vagones has producido un efecto velocidad en el entorno muy bello.
Un abrazo.

I can feel the speed. Quite a fast-moving train on capture.
