Revisiting some favorite places #20: The Drano Lake Tunnel--just one of the 15 railroad tunnels on the Washington side of the Columbia River. The larger tunnel, behind, is for highway traffic.

That tunnel is adding a lot of interest to the frame. Going through a mountain there.

Tunnels freak my claustrophobic self out. That is the only angle I am happy to see them from.

Your photo has an unreal quality. At first I thought this was a photo of a model RR, but knowing you, I doubt that. You do have an unparrelleled eye for spectacular landscapes.

That does look good and it makes me wonder how they actually did that whole in there and it never collapsed back when it was done...guess you know though.
