A ship loaded with logs is headed down the Columbia River toward the Pacific, and eventually the Orient. Don't be upset about the trees-- they're from tree farms and are grown to be harvested.

That is a fine photo of this ship on the move, but I really like the light and reflections.

The logs may be turned to lumber offshore in a mill boat and sold back to us. I enjoy watching the massive cargo ships come and go on the Columbia.
