44 years ago we learnt of Mt St Helen's erruption. The National Geographic magazine showed and reported the magnitude of the devastation she caused. I never imagined then, that I would get to hike near her and to appreciate her reguarly threw your blog, Bill. She always looks amazing.
She's beautiful, rough and rugged, time worn and timeless. She'll grace these parts long after we softies have disintegrated. Beautiful capture of the ever changing saint. I love the complexity of the clouds, lighting, snow and detail.
