The days are getting longer. Early evening light on the meadow near our house shows off the green grass that will probably have a few cattle grazing soon.
Yes, our grass is turning green now, but that is about the only green showing so far. Today even that is covered by a spring snow. Spring comes earlier than it does here, but our snow should melt by tomorrow.
