I'm surprised that the boat named Tigger is still afloat. Wildflowers and other plants have taken over the old dock. They don't care if they have dirt or not!
It's beautiful in its age. Where is this and is there a backstory? I'm going to google it. I can't remember now the exact chapter, in The Grapes of Wrath, after the share croppers leave for California and the horrors they will face there, Steinbeck describes in beautiful detail the decline of their former residence, as nature takes it back. It was my favorite chapter in the entire book.

Both boat and dock have been in the water too long. Both need some tender loving care that is lacking.
They both look like they have seen better days.
Nice photo, I like the plants growing too. We have a lot of canals and lots of old boats on them still going strong.

Parece que ese viejo barco se niega a dejarse invadir por la flora del lugar. Más bien logra parecer aún más bello en su soledad.
