Someday these old buildings will be gone, leaving nothing behind. That's the way of things, but it's sad.

Very sad. Those old buildings have charm unlike most of the ones built today.

I cannot pass an old house or barn that's falling down with creating a story in my mind of the history imagined.

It is sad, but all things come to an end, even the ancient times came to an end.

Beautiful photo.

I just hate seeing them disappear..any if them. I always think how the family that built them must have felt when they were completed.

My favorite chapter in Grapes of Wrath is maybe 7? I can't remember. The share croppers have left the land they worked and their shack behind and the chapter describes nature taking it back.
