This freighter seems a long way from the sea making its way up the river. I wonder where it is taking the logs? Your photo has wonderful soft light.

Is it a Chinese ship? My brother says China buys our Oregon logs, mills them on ships off the coast and sells them back to us as lumber but I don't know if that's all still true.
