Old wood and old hardware, the old barn has moss growing on the windowsill.

I really like how, simply by photographing the texture of the wood, you manage to convey the feel of the material and the impression of the passage of time.

Makes me wonder how old it is.

I’m drawn to photographs like this. The old barn feels steeped in untold stories; even the rusty bolt above the window seems to hold a memory. The weathered wooden walls carry time so beautifully. It's pure joy to look at this wonderful photo.

I rarely notice the barn wood trim in our den but when people visit me that's the first thing they notice and comment on.

Abrazo

Bill, that is terrific texture on that weathered wood. It has stood up well given its lack of maintenance.
