We've had quite a bit of snow in the mountains in the past few days-- way overdue. Here's a shot, looking across the wetlands, and Silver Lake. Mt. St. Helens is peeking out of the clouds here and there...

Finally we get some snow. I can see it low on the hills beyond Lebanon.

How beautifully the soft light breaks through the clouds, creating a wonderful contrast against the snow-dusted peaks and the quiet stillness of the wetlands.

Good you have had some snow. We had a dusting of snow over the past few days, but not enough to make up of its absence over the past couple months. I'm hoping for spring rains.
