Looks a good pathway, and maybe a root or two not to trip over and then up those steps - make me wonder who put them there, some kind soul I guess.

The Forest Service must have put these steps in place many years ago. This path does not look worn so the forest is in the process of reclaiming it.
Its such a green vibrant time of year!
