What a surprise! We've seen moss growing on top of one of our wooden pieces of "garden art" before, but this explosion of tiny mushrooms is something new. Even the largest is about the size of a fingertip. The feather resting on the moss in the upper left helps show the scale of these fabulous 'shrooms. ♥

This looks like a perfect damp environment for both moss and mushrooms. What an explosion of life pictured here.

Looks straight out of a fairy tale—the contrast between the tiny mushrooms, lush green moss, and that little delicate feather is so enchanting.
