150 years ago, our little area was all one fairly large ranch. Cattle were generally dairy cows, but there was a little of everything. Our house along with a few others was built about 100 years ago. Some newer and larger homes popped up much later, but there is still lots of pasture land, complete with cows. This gate leads to one of the leftover pastures.

Buenos materiales de construcción debe tener la casa, para tener tantos años de existencia.
Un cariñoso saludo.

Love the gate and those trees are indeed old. Lovely scene.

A lovely glimpse into the area’s history, where the remaining pastures and old gates still preserve a tangible connection to its rural heritage.

This pasture has not been used much allowing those pine trees to grow very large. Also that gate does not secure.
