The Bridge across the Columbia at The Dalles was opened in 1953. This picture is from the same spot as yesterday's picture of the dam-- You can see just a tiny part of it on the far right. The virtual trip to the dry side continues on the Washington side. By the way, those hills are much higher than they look.
This is a beautiful bridge. I love the way the approach is a curve. I almost always think back to pioneer days and think of having to get across the rivers in a wagon

Bonito lugar Bill.
Un horizonte grande que permite a la vista alargarse .
Abrazo
That looks like a good bridge.
It is SUCH a dramatic and I suspect unforgiving landscape.

Something some would say dreary is actually made beautiful in your photograph.
¡Qué horizontes!
Magnífico paisaje. Es verdad que en la foto no parecen demasiado elevadas.
Buenas Noches.
No train! I'm disappointed, Bill.
Wonderful image.
Un bonito puente en un bonito paraje.
Un abrazo y cuidate.
At least those historic building are still standing. They must have been well constructed to have stood for so long. Lovely landscape.
Impressive bridge
